-2004年世界龍舟錦標賽在上海舉行, 赤柱龍舟協會兩位正副主席有幸獲邀擔任國際龍聯(IDBF)特邀工作人員。
Alson Wong & Edwin Hou (Chairman and Vice-chair of Stanley Dragon Boat Assn)  acted as IDBF race officials in the 5^th World Championships in Shanghai in October 2004.
