簡介： 本龍獅隊創立於2006年1月，目的是培養學生專注、毅力、意志、紀律及團隊精神；透過練習和表演的經驗，讓學生建立自信，增加克服困難的能力，享受人生、擴闊視野和接觸祖國傳統，從而參與保護文化遺產的行列；更重要的是，它配合全人發展的教育方針。 成立不久即多次獲邀公開演出，獲一致好評。本團將一直以校訓「服務社群」為宗旨。經過 兩年的培養，現在本隊的目標是要銳意打造一支有專業水平的表演和比賽隊伍。歡迎各單位邀約表演及交流。 如有意加入為隊員；或家長、校友、公眾人士有意用任何形式支持和贊助，歡迎聯絡有關導師。
教練團簡介： 主教練夏昭建師傅義務到本校任教，也為本團提供所有器材，出錢出力，特此鳴謝。其父是已故夏國璋師傅，其千金也是本校90年代的校友， 家族中另有80年代校友，可謂與本校甚有淵源。其他教練還包括夏師傅的公子夏振洋先生。兩父子在現今國術及龍獅界享譽盛名，曾獲獎無數，包括世界錦標賽及全港賽。 |

Welcome to the web site of "The Lingnan Secondary School Dragon Lion Dance Team" .
Brief history:
The team was first formed in January 2006 to foster perseverance, discipline, concentration and team spirit among students. It also provide opportunities for students to widen their scope of vision and take part in cultural heritage of the Motherland. More importantly, it forms a major symbol to the holistic educational approach.
Soon after its establishment, the team has chances to perform for the public and received very positive feedback. After two years of development, the team endeavors to fix its niche as a professional one for performance and competition. "Serving the Community" is not only the motto of the school, it is also the motto for the team.

coaches
Head Coach Mr Ha Chiu Kin is son of famous master Ha Kwok Cheung, and has long been connected to the school since his daughter was a student here in the 90s and another member of his family was alumni from the 80s. We must thank him for his professional but free coaching, dedication and donation of equipment for the team. Both Master Ha Chiu Kin and his son Jacky has long been renowned in the field of Chinese martial art and lion dance. They have both won numerous awards in the field and represents Hong Kong and captured titles in the world championships.
