Sahaja Yoga Daglio Youth Camp, Italy (July-August 2002) 
霎哈嘉瑜伽達里奧青少年營 (義大利義工服務)

I worked as a volunteer (uncle) in both Boys Camp and Girls Camp (2 weeks each, after Guru Puja).

My son Gautama also went along. Together with the activities before and after the camp at Capella, in total we spent 5 weeks in Italy. Being able to go for this trip in short arrangement is a  grateful blessing . The trip was surely one of the momentous milestones in my spiritual journey.　　

男孩營及女孩營共四星期的活動，小兒也有同行。加上之前之後在卡貝拉鎮的活動，在義大利共留了五星期。當時可以在短時間內計劃就能成行，假期配合得妙絶，的確是天賜的機緣造就。當時的領受，體會和所見所聞，對日後產生了巨大影響。
　
達里奧原是義大利中部距離卡貝拉縣25分鐘車程的山上小鎮，海拔千米。90年代初，當地再往山上步行半小時的小山上，有一飼養山羊的小牧場登報出售，錫呂瑪塔吉就以私人名義把它買下來。不久奧地利的霎哈嘉瑜伽群体租用來搞了一次夏令營給該國青少年練習者，十分成功。錫呂瑪塔吉聽到後建議，何不把它辦成國際化，讓更多人能參與、享受呢？就這樣，翌年達里奧國際青少年營就誕生了 ，每年暑假都辦一次，由歐洲多國的練習者主持。近年骨幹成員主要來自比利時、義大利、奧地利和英國等。

很快，這地方已經發展成不單是青少年成長的福地，它變成了男女老幼、營友和義工們成長、享受平安、享受和諧、和平、平等、博愛和內省的聖地。

很多同期的義工「阿叔阿姨」都說，感覺到這地方就是歐洲的喜瑪拉雅。

 Background information:
Daglio is a very small Italian community 25 minutes drive away from Cabella Ligure on the mountain, around 1000 meters above sea level. In the early 90s a goat farm by half-hour walk further away from the community was for sale and Shri Mataji bought it as Her own personal property. Then renting this property the Austrians soon organized a Sahaja Yoga summer camp for the young practitioners of their own country  and was quite successful. Then Shri Mataji suggested why not make it international so that everyone can enjoy it. That was how it was born in the following year.

Now it is an annual event for summer and is hosted by the European Sahaja Yogis, recently it is mainly the Begium, Italian, Austrian and British yogis. It develops quickly year after year and has now become not only a blessed place for the youth, it is also definitely a holy place for all, young and old, kids and adult, helpers and visitors, to grow, to enjoy peace,  harmony, balance, universal love, and, to introspect.

Many of the contemporary uncles and aunties said they felt "this is the Himalayas of Europe."

The bigger girls choreographed a dance in the camp out of their own initiative. At the end of the camp the uncles and aunties organized a puja and many yogis still staying in Cabella was invited to come up to attend - this dance was performed after the puja. 較大一點的青年團成員在營地內自創了舞蹈。營快要結束的一個晚上我們剛好搞了一個普祭，很多仍在山下卡貝拉鎮逗留的西方練習者也上來參與，這些女孩就表演給大家看。

"......我們在 Daglio 逗留的寥寥數天實在妙不可言！每天透過與世界各地的瑜伽士接觸，令我獲益良多。我們互相分享在霎哈嘉瑜伽的經驗、交流有助於靈性昇進方面的心得......了解並學習彼此的背景和語言、大家互相關懷，好比一個快樂的大家庭。此外， Quinnie 和我更有機會向 Anand— 一位來自奧地利的練習者—學習一點點印度音樂。每天上課前，我們坐在山邊面對著美麗的景緻，不斷重複唱著「 AUM 」這個單音，已陶醉得如登極樂。與那些充滿童真的可愛小女孩相處更是令人心花怒放。我特別享受每天的早晨靜坐，記得第一次聽到她們唱「 Kundalini 」，那猶如天使般的歌聲，觸動了我們每個人的心靈。晚上我們這些 aunties 會幫忙安頓那些較年幼的小孩子上床睡覺，我們逐一走到她們的床邊道晚安，她們都會還以一個親切的吻和擁抱，那感覺真的很甜蜜。這些霎哈嘉瑜伽裡的小孩子的那份純真，把我們的心扉都打開了。記得其中一晚我們舉行了一次特別的火祭，這個火祭的特別之處，就是我們不提及任何負面的東西，取而代之的是一些正面和有關母親的個人感受。聽著孩子們逐一說出她們心目中的母親，並將那份愛獻給火神﹙ Shri Agni Devita ﹚，心裡真的感動得很。

身處 Daglio 有時真的會讓人有置身仙景的感覺，那兒正是人們夢寐以求的烏托邦！跟世界各地的霎哈嘉瑜伽練習者生活，令我覺得自己好像回到家一樣；他們就如我的親兄弟姊妹般，讓我體會到彼此間無私的愛和包容。他們更讓我領悟到霎哈嘉瑜伽不單是我們每天練習的一套功法，而是一種生活方式。我很感激母親讓我能夠來到 Daglio 認識了這麼多練習者，並從他們身上獲得許多得著。那兒的能量實在太好，使我終於體會到長時間保持著〝無思慮覺醒狀態〞是怎麼一回事
